The Vipassana meditation allows us to see the phenomena as they are, without assumptions, without additions, without distortions. In the same way that if we are sit we can know for ourselves clearly that we are sitting, we can come to see with the same clarity any other phenomenon of life. This way is very powerful to understand reality as it is and solve everyday problems, which leads us to the eradication of suffering. If we get to see clearly what causes a disease that we may suffer or a conflict with another person, we can make the necessary changes until we get to completely solve the problem.

However, to access to this clear vision, that is, to access to the Vipassana meditation, it is necessary that the mind rest calm, that is that it does not interfere in the process. And to be able to calm the mind voluntarily it is necessary that we train it well. We get this through the Samatha meditation.

In the retreat we will initially develop the practice of Samatha meditation through mindfulness in breathing (Ānāpānasati practice) and gradually incorporate the practice of Vipassana meditation. Both practices will be carried out in order to be developed in our daily lives, to help us to solve everyday problems and to continue our human development.

The meditation practice will be complemented by martial arts and yoga body work.

To attend the retreat, it is not necessary to have previously practiced. In the retreat will be given the necessary instructions adapted to the attendees.
