To access the states of meditative absorption, it is necessary to stabilize the mind, to quiet it, that is, to enter the state of samādhi voluntarily and to remain for the necessary time. In this retreat we will apply steps that allow us to access and remain in the state of samādhi and we will develop the practice needed to access and remind in the such favourable states of meditative absorption.

The meditation practice will be complemented by martial arts and yoga body work.

to access to this clear vision, that is, to access to the Vipassana meditation, it is necessary that the mind rest calm, that is that it does not interfere in the process. And to be able to calm the mind voluntarily it is necessary that we train it well. We get this through the Samatha meditation.

Samatha-Vipassanā meditation retreat (February 2024)

In this retreat we will focus on understanding the elements that shape us as human beings, the five aggregates (the body, rûpa; sensations/feelings, vedanā; perception, sañña; mental formations, sankhāra; consciousness, viññāna), to which we attach ourselves, causing us to cling to suffering. Learning to relate to them in a healthy way. Then we begin to understand the process of conditioned genesis (paticcasamupada) which describes in detail the chain of the emergence of suffering and how to break it, that is, the way of the cessation of suffering.
